Whispers to Whiskers
Whispers to Whiskers is a virtual pet simulation game where the player’s perspective switches between the human caretaker and their pet cat. The game seeks to foster empathy between humans and animals,
as well as bridge communication gaps. This highlights the necessity of understanding diverse modes of communication and emphasizing empathy for those who struggle to communicate with their caregivers.

Game User Research
The video below highlights gameplay from the prototype stage. For this playtest, the development team prepared two separate sections of the game, as they were unable to combine everything into a single build.
In the next phase of the game, the developers addressed issues identified in the previous version. This version still had some minor bugs. For example, there was no end screen, and the game would loop continuously. As a result, I ended the playthrough when the game was supposed to finish.
For the final build, we conducted a small playtest session just before completing the polished version. The feedback was collected through a Google Form and organized using color-coding to distinguish the responses. Based on this feedback, the developers focused primarily on fixing bug issues.
